Up there with the best pastry stouts ever. There is a wonderful balance of chocolate, vanilla and coconut, with ample barrel notes and booziness for a relatively low abv imperial stout. One of the few bottles that I've gone out of my way to acquire and actually lived up to the hype

Poured a black body with minimal head and lace around the glass. Aroma is basically chocolate with some lactic notes and that's about it. Sticky, sweet chocolate taste with some touch of marshmallow with some notes of vanilla and coconut on finish. Well-hidden ABV and the flavors balance together quite nicely to make this beer a nice and slow enjoyable sipper.

Appearance ~ The beer poured a deep black color with a dark mocha colored head.
Smell - vanilla and coconut really came through the nose. You could tell this one would be really sweet.
Taste - I would best describe this one has been coconut s’mores aged in bourbon. Bourbon was well balanced and there was a nice level of sweetness. Coconut and marshmallow really stood out. There was a nice bourbon finish, that was not overly sweet.
Mouthfeel - There was a nice thick body here really allowed the flavor profile to linger on the tongue.
Overall - This beer was pretty freaking fantastic.
