Acquired 32 ounce crowler in a trade; deep black liquid poured into a snifter; some tannish-brown lacing lingers on the glass; nose hits with chocolate covered strawberries; medium, oily, mouthfeel; taste follows the nose with chocolate, strawberry, vanilla and coconut flavors all dancing on the tastebuds; a little too artificially sweet, but all the labeled flavors are present; still enjoyed this one!

Poured from a crowler, thanks Nick! Black appearance with brown speckling and surface islands. Smell has huge strawberry ice cream with milk chocolate and to a lesser degree vanilla and coconut. Taste matches the nose, only the strawberry, while pure and sweet, doesn't lead but rather dips into the chocolate depths with the vanilla and coconut, almost with a creme brulee flair, accent. The cumulative sweetness holds back the taste a little though. Yet the feel, though welcomely lighter in weight, does not get sugary, good viscosity and depth considering. Great debut! Poured a black body with minimal khaki head and a lace ring down the glass. The aroma does have both notes of coconut and strawberry. Smooth yet heavy, this beer has a strawberry chocolate sweetness and finishes slightly dry like a dark chocolate taste. Good balance and worth trying.
