Tin Roof Sundae is our collaboration with our wonderful friends at American Solera Brewery. We brewed a delightful imperial sweet stout base and then hit it with cacao nibs, vanilla beans, peanut butter and marshmallow to create a midwestern favorite.

Smells exactly like a fluffernutter sandwich. Flavors bring out a bit more of the underlying malt bill and residual baking chocolate bitterness, but the peanut butter and marshmallow flavors are still really prevalent; excellent pastry profile.

Poured a black body with minimal khaki head that stuck around for a little bit. Chocolate fudge aroma dominates the nose with some notes notes of vanilla, wood and booze. Chocolate taste pervades and the beer is full-bodied and has a sticky sweetness as well. There is a smidge of vanilla and booze in the beer as well, but to be honest I don't really get any marshmallow or peanut butter save for a touch of nuttiness in a slightly dry finish.
