Poured a black body with minimal, dark tan head that quickly died and left no lace. The aroma is boozy and woody with notes of vanilla but also dark fruits like black cherry. Heavy body, sticky, boozy, has some heat, a touch of chocolate and vanilla swirl sweetness along with something figs or black cherry on the boozy finish for some balance.

Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a large dark brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of sweet chocolate notes with some bourbon and other barrel-aged notes with some vanilla notes also perceptible. Taste is a nice mix of bourbon and rum notes with some woody flavors and vanilla with some residual sugar notes. Body is full with a nice oily texture with good carbonation and some warming alcohol notes. Really enjoyable BA sweet stout with balanced residual sugar level.
