16 ounce can, n0 dating I could find on it. Served in a snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with a half inch tan head that stayed around for a while. Small amount of lacing. The brew smells like dark chocolate, roasted malt, bready pretzel and some saltiness. I think the taste is pretty much just like the aroma, but there's also some vanilla and caramel flavors too. Pretty sweet tasting, but not quite to the point of being overpoweringly so. Tastes like a sweet chocolatey pretzel! Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it's coating and a bit rich with a moderate amount of carbonation. Sure doesn't seem like it's 11.5% ABV, doesn't feel that strong at all. Thought this was a good overall brew, definitely worth picking up especially if you like pretzel style imperial stouts!

A strong dessert beer. Strong chocolate notes on the nose and especially the taste. Pretzel is there, not as strong. Super sweet. Medium bodied; boozy as hell. May be too strong and sweet, but good.

 

 

Poured a black body with minimal head and no lace. The aroma has notes of basically chocolate with a touch of pretzel (or something dry). Beer is medium to heavy bodied, slightly sticky, and tastes really just like chocolate syrup with a minimal touch of dry pretzel in the background and then finishes slightly dry.
