We brewed this imperial stout with our good friends from Side Project a little over 19 months ago. Since then, it rested in a Willett bourbon barrel until we racked it out and added the "king of kings" adjuncts - a boatload of vanilla beans. King Of Kings expresses boozy creme brulee, deep molasses and sugar cookies.

Look - Black and thick with nice rimming and lacing
Smell and Taste - Chocolate fudge cookie with a nice amount of vanilla and not overly sweet
Feel - full body with a very light carb

Poured a cola-like black body with no head or lace. Aroma is like milk chocolate and vanilla. Smooth yet heavy body, dark, roasted chocolate flavors with a dry woodiness to it, almost like a chocolate syrup, along with touches of vanilla offer an overall sweet beer that has a slightly dry, boozy finish that requires slow sipping.
