In collaboration with our friends @trilliumbrewing
Central Avenue runs through Seminole Heights, Tampa’s first suburb developed in the year 1911 just 3 miles north of downtown Tampa. Central Avenue also connects our old location where we began, to our new location where we currently reside.
Somewhere in the middle is Hillsborough High School, a massive red brick building designed by local architect Francis Kennard in the Gothic Revival style in 1928. A building that can’t help but be marveled.
We brewed Central Ave as a node to Tampa’s rich history, and Trillium’s respective nods to their own Fort Point area’s history. This double dry hopped double India Pale Ale was made with Trillium selected Citra, Sultana and Strata. 8.5% ABV.

Poured a semi-cloudy yellow body with minimal head and lace patches down the glass. The aroma has a nice, plush juiciness to it that reminds of me of pineapple juice. Beer is medium bodied, a little fluffy, with a tropical fruit sweetness that is balanced by a sharp bitterness that adds crispness to beer and finish; mostly a "sweet" beer with crisp finish and very easy to drink.
