An expensive 8 oz. gold-waxed bottle, a 'trend' that I hope dies a painful death.

Stout black. Nose isn't much of note: vanilla, stout, bourbon, but not a lot of any.

Buttle Wrap: a piece of plastic, not a beer. The flavor outperforms the nose, but not by extremes. In order: bourbon, vanilla, roast.

Nothing special. A slightly above average barrel aged stout. That coulda been the whole review.

Poured a black body with one-finger khaki head that slowly died and left no lace. The aroma has notes of wood but not booze, but also there is some nice chocolate and vanilla aromas as well. Medium body, slick, easy to drink, well-hidden booze, notes of chocolate and smidge of notes of vanilla that reminded me of an ice cream twist are present and this beer is a dangerous sipper.
