Poured on tap into a sampler glass at the brewery.
A real nice golden apricot body with a light tan edge to it. Very bright white collar in top with a slightly cloudy body.
Nose is muted, not much of a hop presence or front to this and pretty closed. Not much else to say.
Palate delivers fairly nicely. Light malted body and muted density without a sticky lager punch. Mild hop bitterness with a nice noticeable grapefruit finish. Strange hint of smoke on this with a chewy density to match.
Overall very enjoyable for a simple hopped up lager, hop angle is a bit toned down but is defintely noticeable enough to make the lager qualities take a bit of a backseat.
