Put there by a man in a factory downtown, Sneaky Peach Pale is a big nose smooth finishing Ale - deliciously delectable and deceivingly drinkable. Did you know? Peaches are symbols of immortality (don't mistake Sneaky for a Geldof, and definitely not ‘and Herb’); and super tasty in beer. Similar to the Mackinaw, Sneaky Peach is akin to ‘having a circus in your mouth’ and a little like being in a pie eating contest - to be experienced. Its peachy-keen!! (fruity/peachy/hoppy). Warning: Sneaky Peach may make you want to movin’ to the country…

At my lady Pamela's house; canned and chilled, 473mL in a pint glass. From my favourite LCBO at Tecumseh Mall in nearby Windsor. No date stamp or lot number. My fourth beer from the Kenora, Ontario brewery, and for 2025. Endorsed by Sundae the cat...

Pours a copper-ish colour with a head as big as the beer in the glass, even though I was super slow pouring. At least it doesn't stay long. The nose is of peaches (obviously) and a bit of metal. After a while, it also smells like dishwater and laundry.
The peach is mostly hidden. It's also highly carbonated - way too much, so it's hard to get to any kind of taste. I taste plastic, metal and a tiny bit of peach. Some bitterness but that's not the problem here. The can says "smooth finishing". The can lies. The carbonation makes nothing smooth here and the taste is regrettable.
This is really a subpar effort.
After a few sips, this became drain pour.

Pours lots of foam. Golden orangey color. Smells strongly of ( you guessed it ) peaches or any other stone fruit.
Once again with the peaches or stone fruit taste. Not overpowering and noticeable in every sip.

Now I'll say it once and I'll say it again. I generally dislike peach flavored anything (except real peaches) but this beer actually is not bad at all. I wouldn't take it over countless others I can think of off the top of my head but I would include this one in peach flavored beers that I may drink again, or may not. Still not exactly my cup of tea but if you really like peach beers then this one tastes a little more authentic than those super artifical flavored beers.

Sneaky Peach is advertised as a "pale ale". Typically pale ales have little to no bitterness or hops, which is why I picked this one up.
The bitter aftertaste is way too strong, overwhelming any other flavours. It's certainly NOT a pale ale.
After rinsing my mouth, I ended up pouring the rest out. Glad I only bought one.

473 mL can from the LCBO; dated Nov 19 2023 and served slightly chilled.

Pours cloudy golden-yellow with countless sandy flecks of sediment lazily hovering throughout the liquid. Three fingers of billowing, foamy white head are situated atop, slowly whittled down to a rocky quarter-inch cap and creamy collar, with gobs of spidery lace pasted onto the glass. Looks amazing, but the nose is comparatively plain - canned peaches in syrup and wheaty/bready malts, with hints of citrus & peach juice.

It tastes fine - the peach is hard to miss, but I wouldn't call it overtly dominant. I'm getting wheaty grains, citrus and a little bit of peach juiciness, with notes of ripe, sweet peach flesh developing later on. Hints of resiny, floral hop bitterness at the finish, with ripe peach carrying over into the aftertaste, eventually superseded by lingering hop resin. Medium-light in body, with moderately low carbonation; feels smooth and a little soft on the tongue, with solid drinkability.

Final Grade: 3.69, a B grade. Sneaky Peach isn't anything to get too excited about - it's basically a boilerplate APA with a decent kick of peachiness. There are two things working in this beer's favour: first, the peach is not overused, and second, it seems authentic, i.e. it tastes like they used actual peaches rather than an extract. The downside is that the underlying pale ale does very little to elevate the experience beyond 'merely OK'. If you're looking for a fruity spring or summer quaffer, you could do much worse - a lot of peach beers turn out to be one-and-dones for me, but this is one that I'd drink again.
