From a 16oz can.
This beer pours pitch black. It looked a bit on the thick side while pouring. The head is a thick 2 finger brown head. Very fluffy and frothy looking with mostly small bubbles. Amazing head retention. There's a great sticky lacing on the glass, that clings like glue.
The aroma of this beer has a nice roasted flair to it with hints of chocolate in it.
Taste - This beer has a nice roasted malt character to it. Lots of rich dark chocolate flavor in this beer. Hints of coffee show up in the flavor. There's also a nice bitterness on the back. Sometimes a stout can be too bitter, but this one is just at the right level.
The body has a decent character. About right on the feeling and thickness. The bitterness provides a nice lingering feeling in my throat.
Very tasty and delicious stout.

Poured from a can at fridge temp. The ABV on this can says 10%, so perhaps there is some variation from batch to batch? Pours black as night with quickly fading tan head. Good carbonation. The nose is really nice. Toffee, dark chocolate, roasted malts. A touch of coffee and coconut. Dark German bread. The taste is intense and generally follows the nose. Huge roasted malts, charred wood, tar, coffee grounds, pipe tobacco, and very dark chocolate. Ever so slight sweetness comes through, but the intense bitterness extends into the aftertaste. Mouthfeel is pretty thick, but not really creamy. Overall a really nice stout that showcases intense dark chocolate and burnt wood.

My favorite stout from my local micro brewery.
Beautifully black pour with burnt umber edges when held to the light and topped it 2 fingers of light brown head.
Aroma is charred coffee (not burnt, just really dark roasted) with a bit of cocoa and a touch of vanilla. Roasted bread or grains maybe too.
The taste follows, no harsh, but very dark roast flavors with coffee, toast and bakers cocoa. Some hops edge at the swallow, encouraging another sip.
The feel is good, pretty much the sweet spot for an 11% stout - enough body to encourage sipping but not viscous at all.
Glad they are local to me!

16oz crowler served in a stemmed tulip. Sent to me by @Whyteboar due to a LIF that occurred during NBS BIF #14. No date. Based on listings on Untappd, I'm not sure whether this is a barrel-aged version or not -- three listings from Gravel Bottom with variations on Kevin the Bold, none of which have an 11% abv, which is clearly written on this label.
Pours black with a small head, small amount of fine, slow carbonation. Head turns into a thin skin across the surface and about a half centimeter up the side of glass. Smell is rich chocolate and roasted grains, tons of anise, some vanilla, somewhat boozy (based on the aroma, I'd say it's barrel aged). Also coffee.
Taste is out of Old Raspy's playbook. Dark molasses sweetness, lots of anise and coffee. Burnt/roast coffee. It doesn't taste barrel aged. It doesn't even taste boozy.
Mouthfeel is thick without being sticky. Overall, this is a very good beer.
