A very solid sessionable lager...

I find it very hard to find a sessionable lager that tastes good, but Cherry Street seems to have found the formula. Superbly clear as a lager should be, great puffy and creamy head that has good lacing, it reveals an aroma that is both lemony and wheaty all in one. Mouthfeel is quite carbonated but crisp enough to overlook, and taste is a decent blend of the lemon and wheat - neither one overpower the other. Didn't know what to expect, but whatever I did was exceeded.

Appearance: Pale gold, thin white head with moderate retention.

Aroma: Grainy malt. No hops.

Taste: Moderately sweet and grainy. Restrained bitterness. Crisp short finish.

Mouthfeel: Light bodied, lightly carbonated.

Overall: Pretty good for an American style lager. Just as the name suggests, this is a great summer thirst quencher. It's sweet but not overly so. Restrained bitterness provides balance. Solid effort from the brewery. Made with Pilsner and Vienna malt plus flaked corn. Hops unknown.
