Small head and no lace. The color is copper-amber and nearly clear.
Mild aroma of mostly roasted malt.
Tastes like a hopped brown ale. There's some earthiness but no chocolate to the malt profile. Relatively dry with a straight up bitterness in the swallow. The body is thinner than I like. Low carbonation too.

Pours clear, amber in color with 1/4 inch head. Taste is toffee and toasted malt. Slightly sweet with medium body and carbonation. Makes for a traditional Irish red. Not bad but not a beer I would go out of my way for.
