Appearance - The beer poured a golden orange color with a white head and modest visual carbonation.
Smell - The beer had a nose of fresh sour apples and a hint of wood.
Taste - The initial taste was composed of pears, bananas, and apple. The profile had a strong oaky backbone. The finish is dry and slightly acidic. The acidity is not acidic reflux inducing.
Mouthfeel - The body was thin without much carbonation.
Overall - Pawpaw was very well placed in this beer. Even if you don’t know what pawpaw is, this is worth seeking.
