Ahnapee makes some good everyday drinking beers, and I'm hoping Gray Wolf Vienna Lager is another addition to that list. Part of a six-pack, on to the beer:
Color had a touch of murkiness; amber orange with a whispy head with decent retention and a few strings of lace. Smells like bread crust dipped in caramel with a touch of alcohol. Take in another breath and you can find spicy hops towards the back.
This takes a different route from the common Vienna. The taste has more of a canned mandarin orange flavor with a whisper of toasty malts. Light/medium bodied with small but lively bubbles, Gray Wolf is a respectable lager I would be happy with at Algoma's lakefront on a warm day.

Pours copper/bronze with light foam and moderate carbonation. Aroma is clean and slightly caramel. Taste is typical Vienna lager, with light, crisp, clean caramel and biscuit flavors.
