A Baltic Porter aged on Door County, WI Cherry Wood. Pours black with moderate head. The aroma is of dark cherries with a toasted malt. The taste is mildly tart, but deeply of dark cherries, with some chocolate overtones, and a barrel aged flavor. The flavor lingers forever and is deeply satisfying. A beautiful Baltic porter.

Black with brown edges and a tan collar. The cherry wood leads powerfully in the nose, with licorice, tart cherry, and semi-sweet chocolate. Taste again sees the cherry wood lead, bring and tart before becoming tannin laden with a bright wood quality, has decent booze, dark fruit, cola, and licorice. A twist on the baltic porter for sure, but a good one, it's cherries in door county for goodness sake! Feel is sneaky high in carbonation, woody, slightly syrupy, light, and sharp on the finish.
