Our batch 500 Colorado Biere de Garde. Brewed with Cascade hops from High Wire on the western slope, grain from Colorado Malting Company, and yeast from Denver's own Inland Island. ⠀

Bought two 12 ounce cans from Beer Drop. (Also bought the same in what probably is a Brett rendition of Cache.) That is part of what makes Diebolt interesting: they probably waste lots of money keeping this dying style alive, and keep trying to reinvent it. The biere de garde is an interesting style: food-friendly from France, albeit nestled against Belgian. While Diebolt makes its money on IPAs and stouts, it spends its money on farmhouse ales. And that is all good with me.
As for Colorado Cache, I like it; but it could have slightly fewer hops in its after-taste... if it is serious about being a go-to at the table. (Diebolt's Anton French Ale is a contender as a table go-to.) Other than the excess spicing, Colorado Cache is more than good alliteration, it also is a good ale.
6/25/21 Had the second can and confirm the above rating and edited the review. Fewer hops help Cache at the table. I'm keeping count over at UnTappd.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
