Absolutely world class, and as I have said about these guys before, it's only a matter of time until they reach national provenance with beers this good and unique. A bretted octoberfest, with the single hop of Nelson in here, just extraordinary in both conception and execution. The funk from the Brett goes well with the traditional German malt base, has a tang to it, and adds a to. Of bready depth that works with the sweet cereals of the grain. Nelson is brimming tropical fruit in nose and taste, and it finishes juicy too, even though this is far drier than any other of this type of lager I can think of. To think to do this fusion, old world style, new world hops, wild yeast, it's just genius all the way through. Never would have put the white windy Nelson with the malts in this, but they are a little tannic too, acidulated probably, just so smart. I've liked all the beers they make, but this is the most impressive on I have encountered. I'm am a lifelong fan now, and do are the others I shared this with. Truly like no other beer I've ever had!!!
