From a 12 oz can (version 2.0) into a tulip.
A-As advertised, the beer is hazy and light-orange colored. A dense, pillowy head of off-white foam sits up top. The head is very clingy and retention is good. Not much carbonation is visible. This stuff may not score well against old-school style guidelines, but it looks like a hazy IPA, which is how Odd13 promoted it, so I'll score it like that.
S-The aroma is juicy and full of citrus flavor; orange mostly. I also get some perfume and floral notes, some cantaloupe, and (unfortunately) some onion flavor. Malts are pretty much a non-entity.
T-The taste is similar to the smell, but with more zesty than juicy flavors. It is still heavy on the orange, but a little more bitterness creeps in here and I don't taste as much tropical fruit as I was hoping for. I also get a bit of the dreaded onion flavor on the mid-palate and finish.
M-The beer is robust for the style with mushy-soft carbonation. Relatively clean finish.
O-These guys are clearly trying to go a different route than most of the IPAs around here and I appreciate that, but this beer was merely OK. I believe the hops in this version are simcoe, equinox, and amarillo...not sure how different this version is from version 1.0

While I didn't find it nearly as good as their NE contemporaries, I totally think they nailed the style. Hazy hop juice. The best success I've had outside of New England. Hope to see others take it on!

12oz can picked up due to Internet hype, luckily it is a good beer. Hazy yellow, huge head. Nice aroma of citrus and lemons, extra hoppy. Flavor is the same, not much malt to speak of but that is ok. Sort of reminds me of Station 26 Citra single hop.

Finally colorado is seeing a New England-style IPA. Watch out superpower. West coast IPAs are great but nothing like the tropical haze bombs of the northeast.
Update: above review was when I had it on tap at the brewery. I just poured the beer from the can and into a snifter. Definitely better on tap, IMO. Out of the can the tropical, hop-fruit taste seems less natural.

12 ounce can poured into a nonic ten ounce glass.
Golden color, bright and clear, with light carbonation. Head is a pale, frothy white and shows some staying power. Leaves a cauldron of lace in its wake. 5
Fruity aroma with some sticky, pungent fruit like pineapple and passionfruit, but it's not a popping, punch of fruit, more something sedate. 4
Taste follows the aroma with a sticky over-ripened pineapple flavor. Resinous undertones even out the flavor and malt lends some light vanilla and sweetness. The finish is earthy and green. Very nice. 4
This drinks refreshingly with plenty of sensation on the tongue from the carbonation and bitterness, which leaves a satisfying feel in the mouth. Sweetness is noticeable but provides some balance. 4
This beer has a pungent quality to it that feels more like overripened fruit than fresh fruit, which isn't quite as nice to my palate as it takes on a sweeter element, but still there's much to like here.

L: pale straw color with 2 fingers of white head that stick around lacing the glass.
S: Grass, pine, citrus, pineapple. Smells great.
T: No malt presence. Light malt, citrus and pineapple flavor, piney bitterness.
F: Light body, slightly sticky. Active, biting carbonation on the tongue
O: Much better the 2nd time. This is a pretty good IPA and a little different spin on the genre.
NOTE: I drank a 2nd can of this after noticing my ratings deviated tremendously from the consensus. It was better the 2nd time- fresh palate? Anyway, ratings have been updated.
