Brief review from notes for a can purchased in January, 2016.
APPEARANCE: Light yellow body. Frothy off-white cap. Obviously overcarbonated, seeing as the head occupies about 90% of the glass.
AROMA: Floral, oniony, fruity. Not citrusy or resinous - which is surprising seeing as Citra and Amarillo were used. Light pale malts are present in addition to the hops.
Suggests a light-bodied refreshing IPA of limited complexity and depth.
TASTE: Follows the aroma. Hop profile could be better; Amarillo and Citra don't come through all that expressively.
TEXTURE: Light-bodied, somewhat coating, slightly coarse, slightly dry, overcarbonated, and somewhat refreshing.
OVERALL: It's a drinkable IPA I could easily finish a few of in one sitting, and in that respect it's a success.

Poured from a can (no date) into a tulip glass.
L - orange, hazy appearance. Nice foamy head that slowly dissipates and lacing that hugs the sides of the glass.
S - super light aroma; doesn't really jump out at you. Do get some tropical/pineapple notes along with the hops in the smell.
T & F - Nice citrusy/hoppy taste on this one; mildly bitter finish. Mouthfeel is on the lighter side . Could see crushing 2 to 4 of these in a session.

12oz can, undated, poured into a Lagunitas mason jar.
The beer pours a hazy golden color, orange and copper hues, very cloudy with a finger of white head, soapy and soft with good retention yielding plenty of lace. The aroma is very nice, loads of floral hops ranging from bright and delicate to earthy and raw, citrus, pineapple, a bit of pine and a nice helping of doughy malt. The flavors are really bursting, fruity, floral, bitter, tangy, ample pineapple, tangelo, pine, earthy and dank wildflower character, doughy malt helps to settle things, but this is all about the hops. The mouthfeel is nice, coating, a bit heavy at times with lower carbonation, very full bodied with a dry finish that has a bit of abrasion from the carb.
Verdict: A really nice IPA from Odd13, my first experience with this brewery and hopefully not the last. This definitely has all the hallmarks of the popular New England IPAs that are all the rage these days and could definitely hold its own with many of them. Perhaps a bit overly bitter at times, but so loaded with flavor that it remains extremely satisfying.

I've been a proponent of the first two Superfans because Odd 13 were actively working on the style and getting close to it. The beers were not mind-blowing, but they were quite good and to-style.
Then comes 3.0 and completely blows me away! They've upped the haziness, cut the bitterness and brought citra back! This is not only a great NE Style IPA for Colorado, it is a great beer! Possibly one of my favorite canned offerings in Colorado. I am not exactly a "Superfan" of the NE style juice, but I would rank this up there in the same league as some of the stuff I've had from the big ones.
