my homies loved this one, but i wasnt quite as impressed by it as i have been by a lot of their other hoppy beers. this is kind of interesting though, i dont know what the hops are, but it tastes to me more like a classic northwestern high alpha hop strain or two, but used in the new school east coast all dry hop hazy juicy sort of style. usually its all the fruity and tropical and southern hemisphere hops that end up in these types of beers, but this has more of a classic appeal, and its neat to see a centennial or simcoe type, whatever they used, in that context. hazy even milky looking, not real heady, but enough bubbles when i drink it. really piney hop nose and taste to it, very bitter for the east coast type, almost harsh on that aspect, and long lingering in the finish. the grain is sort of too much, wheaty but a little sharp, amplified by the overabundance of hop bitterness all the way through it, it seems less refined, even a little sloppy, compared to the best beers these guys make. even the alcohol is a little exposed in it. not at all a bad beer, and for the guy who wants to be beat up by the hops in the hazy ipa style, here ya go! i prefer most of their other hoppy beers instead.

L: Hazy grapefruit juice look, with a small creamy head and a ring of lacing around the glass.
S: Lemon and grapefruit, orange and a little pineapple, some notes of pine, with a Bready malt backbone. Not as juicy as some IPAs of this style.
T: A strong Piney bitterness with lots of different fruits intermingling in. Notes of orange, pineapple, lemon, and grapefruit. Bitterness lingers for a while. Malt isn't overly noticeable.
F: Long lingering bitterness, slightly creamy carbonation about medium body.
O: A solid IPA though there are Hazy IPAs that I enjoy more.
