L: Very pale hazy yellow color, with a small white head that sticks around for a while, some nice soapy lacing on the glass.

S: Mango, pineapple, lemon peel, some melon rind, grassy earthy hops maybe a little onion. Malt is quite light in the aroma but it is quite light.

T: Little bit of melon, orange and pineapple, grassy earthy hops, a very light malt backbone. A slightly harsh bitterness finishes off the beer.

F: Pretty light body with medium carbonation and very easy drinking.

O: Another good IPA from Odd 13, not quite as good as Superfan but still quite tasty.

another winner from these guys. man, for awhile it was looking like only wild beers from them, but these recent hoppy releases have been amazing, and i like this as much as i like the superfan, which everyone is freaking out about. its amazing beer, really really good, and probably the most illustrative example of the comet hop i have seen to date. its an east coast looking brew, bright and yellow and hazy, thinner than superfan, paler, and with a short airy lazy white head. it smells amazing. i get green melon and citrus from these hops, lemon and lime with the melon, tropical and distinct but also subtle compared to some of the better known varietals. the malt base is really light in flavor, but has a little body to it, maybe some protein in here, wheat, yeast, lots happening aside from the hops, but there are oils and fruity elements lingering longer on the palate than anything else here. some bitterness, but its pretty chill in that regard. citrus with more orange in the finish too, and a creamy texture that reminds me of back east. this is an amazing ipa. i wish i could have tried the others in the series, but hoping they keep it going. if this is any indication of what comet hops are all about, i expect they will get pretty popular here soon, this is delicious beer!

Pretty good single/single from Odd13. Comet hops were surprisingly good.
