12 oz can. Cloudy apricot pour, two finger bubbly head has decent retention, coating lace. Citrusy aroma. Taste is nothing but bitter hops. Love hops but little to no balance in this one. Got better as it warmed.

It was hot upon first opening. As I've drank through after a week or two, its smoothed out and drinking excellent. Juicer and less bitter. Odd 13's double-dry hopped stuff often requires a week or two to mellow out. Sneaky good.

L: Hazy Grapefruit color with a creamy white head and nice lacing on the glass. Beer is kinda ugly looking.
S: Pineapple, grapefruit, some floral and resin, very hoppy, not a lot of malt backbone.
T: Bitter grapefruit rind dominates everything. I don't get much else besides grapefruit rind, doesn't taste too fruity. Very bitter.
F: Medium body and carbonation.
O: Aroma and feel are not bad, but the taste is all bitter and grapefruit rind, disappointing for an Odd 13 beer.

Pours out a hazy, creamy orange color with nice foam.
Aroma is resinous, tropical fruit. Its the typical NE IPA aroma. Smells nice.
Flavor is sort of watery, bitter, tart fruit. Way too hoppy. They've surpassed the threshold.
Overall, Just too much.

This is the worst beer I have ever had from Odd 13. It is not good. I have so far tried it twice. First time trying it was on the day of the release and I found it to be not good. Someone suggested that I wait a week or so for it to lose its "grassy" flavor from the fresh hops. About 2 months later Odd 13 released the beer to stores because they cannot move all of their stock at the brewery, so I decided to get another 6 pack. Again, it tastes terrible and it is not worth the $12.50/6 pack price. This is an extreme disappointment considering how good the regular Hop Wizard was.

massive thanks to captain Sean for always hooking up odd13. canned about a month ago and from what I hear was too intense...even a bit so now but nice smack you in the face galaxy to literally knock you over. little too much...nice tick but I guess there such a thing as too much hop.

What the hell?! Did they add all of the hops at the start of the boil?! This is totally not what they were going for and terrible compared to regular. What a sad waste of all of that beautiful galaxy!

this is so bad, and its not even close to the very high standard these guys have established, especially in their hop driven beers. its almost offensive, harsh from rye rawness and overdosed hop bitterness alike, just much to much, and the special hops, galaxy and azacca and nelson and all of that just arent there, pushed out and back by intense flavors and textures i dont like at all. milky straw colored, thick and not carbonated, looks sloppy. aroma and flavor of hot rye and over the top ibu, really not at all a good expression of galaxy hops in any of the senses. sometimes i wonder if these guys get a little too ambitious, and not in the recipe but in the number of beers. anyone who tasted this honestly would have never released it, reworked the recipe, and improved it drastically. this was an obvious rush job, almost desperate, cheap and lousy. i will give them a pass this one time because i know them to be capable of so much more, but this is undrinkable and bad, and it should have never seen the light of day...
