12 fl oz pull-tab can:

5.5% ABV.

It's an IPL and it's nice for what it is, but to call it a keller pilsner is just marketing schlock.

Decent looking, aroma leans in to grassy and the huelo melon stands out with some melon notes. Interesting, but not exactly what I am seeking. Flavor is same, crisp and herbal but with some slight new hop flavors and a touch of cardboard. Not a complete miss from Odd13, but not a standout like I’ve experienced in their other beers.

Picked up a single from the Craft Beer Quick Stop 10-2-19 cooler for $1.89. Canned on 5-20-19; consumed on 12-9-19.

Beer poured golden with a decent white head with the original pour.

Nose has hints of lemon.

Taste is lemony which provides a nice fresh hop impression with the light malt body. Finishes with a nice herbal bitterness; 6/10 on my scale.

Mouthfeel is light bodied and refreshing.

Overall a nice beer, would love to have a fresher version. Will look for it next spring!

$ 4.49 (Including shipping and PA tax)/12 oz can ($ 0.374/oz) from Tavour, Seattle, WA. Reviewed 9/10/19.

Appearance – 4.
First pour – Light yellow, clear.
Body – Light yellow, hazy.
Head – Large - (Maximum five cm, aggressive center pour), white, medium density, average retention, diminishing to an irregular three to fourteen mm frothy crown with a large heaped island capping part of the surface and multiple irregular pieces of tiny to small-bubbled lacing adhering to the inside of the glass.
Lacing – None.
Aroma – 4 – Light melon and some hop crispness.
Flavor – 4 – Very light and crisp brew, with hints of melon. Slightly bitter aftertaste. No alcohol (5.5% ABV) flavor or aroma, no dimethylsulfide, no diacetyl.
Palate – 3.5 – Medium, watery, somewhat dry.
Final impression and summation: 4. Very pleasing, lightly flavored crisp beer. If this were available here, it would be a staple.

Pours a foggy straw with two fingers of white foam. Head retention is good. Aroma is straw, bread, biscuity, wafery, crackery malts and light spicy, citrus, zesty hops. Light bodied with a very tight structure. Flavor profile is more malt and less hops, hitting notes of biscuity, wafery, crackery, bready malts with a hint of straw and zesty, spicy, citrusy hops. Bready, zesty notes linger on the tongue for a while after each sip. Mouth feel is lightly crisp with a soft finish. It has a medium-thin consistency. Overall, malt forward with light hops for a little bit of zest and depth. The lingering notes keep it from drinking clean, otherwise fair.

Served in a 15.5oz Speigalau tulip from a 12oz can.

i wanted this to be at least a little bit more unique with the sexy hops that are in it, but its another well made beer from these guys, and in a style they are not particularly known for, a good summer crusher, even if its a little less exciting than i was hoping it would be. this is really light yellow in color with a soft frosted hazy to it and a nice white head from the can. their art always looks kind of amateur to me, like it doesnt fit how good the beer usually is, but im not an artist or anything. i get some of the hallertau blanc in the nose, light tangerine, white wine, and pineapple there, with the bitter and limey saaz also present, this is hoppier than the style usually allows for it seems. the flavor is nice, starting with the base lager, which is fluffy and dry, fresh on the malt side, crackery and even crisp, but a little raw and rustic too like i want a keller to be, fuller feeling that way, yum. the beer is really fresh, which partially makes it, the lager yeast has some character, not too sterile there, and the hops are distinct, i just kind of want the huell melon to pop a little more than it does. its unique even without that though, and the bitterness of the saaz still has this tasting pretty classic. overall a nice beer, real drinkable and something just different enough to stand out. a six pack wasnt enough!

Faintly cloudy, straw yellow body; plenty of lively carbonation; relatively thin yet lasting head, white and soapy with some specks of foam clinging to the glass. Excellent aroma blend of cracker, light citrus, and a bit of freshly cut grass. Light cereal grain backbone with some fruity esters expanding the taste experience; fine moderate hop bitterness throughout the taste. Medium body; warm and juicy on the palate; mainly dry mouthfeel overall.

This is a pretty tasty and refreshing beer, unfiltered, and a pleasant drinker.
