12 oz can from Tavour. Golden, hazy pour, cloudy. Tropical, fruity aroma, some citrus. Taste carries more of those notes forward, thick feel, looks and feels like pear nectar. Not as dank as i was prepared for, but doesn't reveal its ABV either.

12 oz. Can
Canned On: 09/07/18
Poured into a Trillium glass a pretty nice cloudy pale yellow/orange color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy one-finger white head, which leaves some nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, malty, with a nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, papaya, mango, apricot), some diesel. The taste is pretty nice, hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, papaya, mango, apricot), nice little diesel like. Medium body, ABV hidden pretty nicely, with a nice dry/bitter finish. Overall, a pretty tasty brew. Orange Julius! Addictive! Nice to see this one, and something new from Odd13 around here.

Impression from a can:
Vague citrus creamsicle is emphasized. What happened to the days when IPAs were hoppy and concomitantly bitter?

Hazy, golden body; thick, chunky, and sticky white head. Orange rind and grapefruit aroma. Mildly tart grapefruit flavor; solid hop bitterness. Medium-heavy body; very dry on the palate; some boozy hotness.
For an imperial IPA, this one seems rather screwed up. It doesn't really come across as a fully realized. By that, I mean it seems a bit one-dimensional in that it lacks balance and depth. The beer highlights strong bitterness and an almost brutish harshness with the ABV, but there is little counterpoint to these sharp elements. And so it goes...
