Poured from a 16oz can, canned on 11-27-2024. Currently 5.3% ABV

On the pour, 2 fingers of surprisingly fine, pinkish off-white head form on top of a hazy raspberry colored juice concoction. Head retention is actually quite good.

Aroma is of real raspberries, but dampened by a slight metallic funk. Other than that, there isn't much else going on. Big points for the real fruit though.

Taste is more tart straight out of the can than poured in a glass. Out of the glass it is more reminiscent of not quite sweet enough raspberries, but still it tastes real. There is a vague malty finish on the retrohale if you really try.

Feel is like fruit juice. Full and coats the mouth, but bubbly and still refreshing. Honestly pretty good, and follows the fruity theme.

Overall this is solid but I hesitate to compare it to other beers. Even other sours. Regardless, I enjoyed it and would drink it again as I like juice and sodas.

16oz - canned on 1/29/2021

Bright pink appearance that wants to be clear but is certainly opaque. White head that leaves very little lacing.

Acidic raspberry aroma. Real raspberry.

Once palate is adjusted, taste is not incredibly tart with a fleeting, underlying sweetness. Finishes a bit bitter, albeit a fibrous, real berry bitter that lingers.

Mouthfeel is puckering and thin for a ‘smoothie’ style.

Overall very balanced and nails the real raspberry flavors. Tart, but not overwhelming acidity makes this rather drinkable despite lacking the extreme smoothie thickness and sweetness.

12 oz. Can
CANNED ON: 04/25/19

Poured into a tulip a pretty nice cloudy pinkish/red color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy/fizzy one-finger off-white head, which leaves some sticky lacing behind. The nose is malty, with some raspberries, vanilla, tart/sour, kinda funky. The taste is pretty nice, malty, with some raspberries, vanilla, tart/sour, funky. Medium body, ABV is hidden pretty nicely, with a nice little dry/bitter finish. Overall, a pretty tasty brew.
