Like little hop fairies flying around and sprinkling lupulin powder over the tongues of hop heads near and far, the brewers at Odd13 continue to work their magic on the a New England-styled IPA base beer and giving it a double dose of hoppage with Nelson Sauvin, Huell Melon and Mosaic varietals.
Pale gold and on the translucent side of turbid, Double Dry-Hopped Fairy Hopmother doubles down on the original Fairy Hopmother with a tangy, fruity and herbal scent that rises from a creamy ivory foam. A general cream of wheat cereal sweetness greets the tongue with a pillowy starch, honeysuckle and graham cracker maltiness.
As the hops dance about the middle palate, they deliver a punch of flavor that leads with passionfruit, lime, lemon, orange and grapefruit before turning rounded and juicy with honeydew. Trending herbal and spicy, hints of white grape come with a tea-like bite and a fresh sawn spruce character.
Medium bodied and trending fuller than most standard-strength IPA, this hazy ale finishes malty-dry and with a medium length extension of verbena, fruit peels and a grassy botanical blend.

Copper in color, with a darker hue. Head is barely existent, however it is there and off white. Decent lacing. Taste is juicy then bitter with a back of the tongue finish. Good beer, not great, but above average I would say,
