On tap at the Keg and Barrel, Hattiesburg, MS
A: A pale golden, opaque, with a one-finger white head that tries to score a goal. Thick lacing.
S: Wheat, grassy hops and a mild lager graininess.
T: Smooth, sessionable, semi-sweet. Wheat dominates with a mild hop bitterness. Fans can drink the crud out of this one while watching the game and never get filled up.
M: Light to medium with a dry finish. Medium carbonation.
O: Although I'm not a big fan of wheat beers, this is a very drinkable style that goes down easy and mixes well with aggressive World Cup fans. Get it now while it's still around. Like the US's chances of winning, Group Of Death won't be around very long.
