A Rye Spring Ale. Sweet citrus flavor and complex spicy rye. SoPro is about to punch you rye in the mouth.

Seriously bright and citrusy with enough malt character to balance it. The rye and lemondrop hops pair well

16oz can in glass. I got this from Louisiana as an extra beer from a trade.

L: Light amber. Medium sized white head.
S: citrus, mandarin, blood orange peel.
T: very unique rye beer. It doesn't taste like a rye ipa either. It's not spicy as most rye ipas, actually there's no spice at all. I appreciate the approach. It's an easy drinking rye for sure. Summery and refreshing.
F: medium body with refreshing quality.
O: worth trying. The brewery's interpretation of this beer is "rye spring Ale" which I find extremely interesting. I like how this beer is not hopped up as the current trend dictate.

Taste is orange, biscuit, toasted malt, and light rye towards the end. Nice combination of flavors. I was impressed with how smooth this beer was. Not the most complex brew, but very tasty. One I will get again.

Look: Darker orange body. A tad off-white head that appears pillowy soft and creamy. Legs and lacing are super slippery. Lacing is almost non-existent.
Smell: This smells like a Stone, Delicious IPA to me. Light orange/ lemon aroma with built-in hops.
Taste: The taste starts out great. Some orange, some lemon, some hops, a little sweetness...then the end is not so good. There was an initial unwanted bland taste. That odd taste has disappeared with successive sips. Now it's better :) Some white bread as it warms. This is nice.
Feel: Slick and buttery in the mouth. Medium carbonation and light-medium body.

Overall - I do not have any complaints about this beer. Light, bright, and summery. It is good to go.

Taste is bland. Taste like a lot of the other brews in their line up. Not impressed. Also the eye spiciness is lacking. Overall it's just mediocre
