Sleeper Agent - Barrel Aged, part of the Wild & Wood series, was released in 22-oz. bombers at the July 1, 2017, We Can Sell You Beer Party! at the SoPro Taproom, and then in limited local markets. Had poured from 22-oz. bomber into faceted mug.
Aged for eight months in Willett bourbon barrels, this Russian Imperial Stout is bigger than it ought to be, yet balanced.

Nothing in particular stands out about this beer. Don't read that sentence and think this is an average BA imperial stout...it isn't. For being under 10% this is phenomenal. The nose is raisiny. The taste is very sweet with the slightest bourbon bite at the end. Disappears from the palate over the matter of 15-20 seconds. Great beer.
