A Red IPA with a toasty malt backbone, piney nose and a classic West Coast bitter finish you haven’t gotten from SoPro since a Democrat was in the White House. Rotator Series Red IPA with Simcoe and Ekuanot.

Had this Red IPA at the SoPro Taproom, on draft into 4-oz. taster tulip, and have had poured from 12-oz. can into tulip pint.

Different hops, but still reminiscent of (unfiltered) Sierra Nevada Celebration.

SPB Red IPA has a fairly thick, yellowish-ivory head, an opaque tomato red appearance, with gray yeast chunks, following a "swish & pour", and heavy glass lacing. Aroma is of red malts, tannins, and fruity hop resins. Taste is the same, with initial, yet building, hop bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium to heavy, and SPB Red IPA finishes fairly rich and on the dryer side.
