Team SoPro invited some of our mamas down to brew with us today! We brewed a Berliner with Guava, Coconut and Grapefruit. Mother Boy will be available Mother’s Day weekend, and it’s made with more love than any beer ever made. Ever.

Had Mother Boy, a draft-only limited release, on its Mother’s Day 2018 weekend release, at the SoPro Taproom, on draft into footed tulip pint.

Pours bright but hazy lemon-gold, with a bubbly 1-finger quickly-dissipating to nothing near-white head, leaving little to no lace. Acrid and as it warms meaty, fruity aroma. Begins tart and biting, then coconut, strawberry, and a biting but coconut finish.

A “wheat-based kettle sour” brewed by the SoPro team and their mothers, with guava, coconut and grapefruit added after fermentation, everything works to create a tart, fruity beverage to be served in a handblown Mexican glass with a little colored umbrella.
