Sangre Blanca, a “sangria inspired sour ale with Roussanne wine grapes, tangerine, pineapple and white peach,” a collaboration with Southern Grist, was released in Feb. 2019 in pint can 4-pks. and on draft at the SoPro Taproom, and subsequently on a very limited basis in local markets. Had on draft into pint tumbler, and also poured from pint can, bottom stamped canned on “01/23/19,” into chalice.

Sangre Blanca is bright, cloudy gold and otherwise not much to look at, but the added fruits are all distinguishable in the wonderful, lasting aroma, and are also all there balancing the moderate Berliner tartness.
