This DDH IPA is brewed in honor of our 6 year birthday. We created a grain bill to perfectly display an all Citra hop experience. We utilized our hand-selected Citra hops along with Citra Cryo hops in honor of the occasion.

No canned on date, but released on May 18, 2019 for SoPro's 6th Year Anniversary.
The color on this is great, a really pale golden yellow, completely opaque and with a small head of foam that rises and falls with the beer as it is poured.
Lots of mango and stone fruit on the nose, with undertones of overripe pineapple and sweet citrus as well. Tons of fruit, with only a touch of residual hop bite in the aromas on the back end.
All citrus and hops on the palate. With Citra specializing more as an "aroma" hop more than a flavor hop, there is an undertandable amount of hop bitterness here. Strong notes of lime and grapefruit ring true, fairly dry with a backbone of piney, resiny, mildly peppery hops.
As mentioned above, a fairly dry beer with a medium body and sharp, almost seltzery carbonation. Smooth and juicy going down, not too much residual stickiness on the palate. Some numbing bitterness clenches up the back of the palate.
