Released at the SoPro Taproom in June 2019 on draft and in pint 4-pks., and subsequently on a limited basis in limited markets.
First had this Icebox upgrade at the 2019 Mississippi Craft Beer Festival, Fondren, Jackson, Mississippi, poured from pint can, bottom stamped (apparently) canned on “05/21/19 COCOBOX,” into taster glass, and have had on draft into nonic pint.
The ABV boost, added coconut and smoothing and sweetening vanilla and lactose, with the existing big lemon and zest bite, make for a bigger, more complex and, oddly, more quaffable beer than the original Icebox.
