Ice Box - Cherries And Lime

Released at the SoPro Taproom in June 2019 on draft and in pint 4-pks., and subsequently on a limited basis in limited markets.

First had this Icebox upgrade at the 2019 Mississippi Craft Beer Festival, Fondren, Jackson, Mississippi, poured from pint can, no date on bottom, into taster glass, and have had on draft into clear plastic beer cup.

This is a very interesting effort. Both beautiful and ugly in appearance, as it’s a slightly hazy deep ruby red, marred by all kinds of (fruit? yeast?) floaties, and the light pink head disappears immediately. Aromas of cherry, cherry skin, lime and brine clash a bit, but on drinking the lime helps generate a crisp finish.
