Except for limited special events, The Great Dreamer was a SoPro Taproom-only release in October 2019 on draft and in pint can 4-pks. Had poured from pint can, no date, into Teku tulip 3.0.
Pours bright but dirty--clearing to cloudy as fruit sediment drops--melon gold with 1/2- to 1-finger fizzing, fine-grained, near-white head, which soon dissipates to barely a thin ring, leaving no lace. Aromas of sweet fruit juice off pour, clarifying to deep melon and sweet strawberry, before tart tropical and stone fruit aromas mostly take over and continue, with a little coconut aroma as warms. On tasting, crisp carbonation delivers biting citrus rind and tart tropical fruit, which grows ever more sour, until moderated by a little sweet melon and vanilla, over an increasingly evident cracker malt base and lactose smooth body, before a very citrus crisp, drying and sour but sweet finish.
Massively tropical and citrus fruit refresher, tart and biting, grounded by a cracker malt base.

On-tap at J. Wakefield Brewing, Miami, FL
A: The beer is very hazy orange yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high off white head that quickly dissipated, leaving a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface.
S: Moderate aromas of passion fruit and apricot are present in the nose along with hints of coconut.
T: The taste has moderately strong flavors of passion fruit and apricot along with notes of coconut. There is a light to moderate amount of sourness.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied and a bit tart on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I really liked the fruity flavors of this beer, particularly the combination of the apricots and coconuts.
Serving type: on-tap
