Very limited draft-only release, first at Cathead Distillery, then at the SoPro Taproom, after bottle release of regular wine barrel-aged Mandela Effect, and possibly to be found at a few other special events around the market.
Had at the SoPro Taproom on draft into tulip. This appears to be the same golden ale originally fermented in clean oak barrels, refermented in oak with Brett and lacto, dry-hopped with Nelson Sauvin, and released on draft in November 2017 as simply “Mandela.” The Cathead gin barrel-aging takes what was complex, sharp, fruity and funky and adds Mississippi-made gin, creating a crisp, dry gin cocktail.
