Ladder Match - our 5.6% American Pilsner that we brewed with our buddies from unionbeerstore down in Miami. It's a beautiful crusher hopped with Wai-iti and Motueka, fermented with a classic Euro lager yeast.

Had Ladder Match (American Pilsner) at the SoPro Taproom on draft into 4-oz. taster tulip, and have had poured from pint can, bottom stamped (apparently) canned on "02/10/20," into a pilsner glass.
Looks the part, with the near-white head topping the beer start to finish, and a moderate but interesting aroma of pilsner malt and noble NZ hops, leaving as a surprise the NZ stone fruit which complements the malt, spicy hops and clean finish.

In a crowler straight from SoPro Brewery tap. Look = Crystal clear light straw which resembles a German Pils. Smell = not quite German style. It's creamy, buttery, and clean with a slight spicy hop aroma. Taste = Crisp, clean, slightly buttery with a nice middle mouthfeel that doesn't linger on too long but just long enough to enjoy the flavor. Easy to drink. I like it, but as I continue to say... It's no Ovations. I'd give it 3.8.
