Blood Moon, a limited release in the Wild & Wood series, was released at the SoPro Taproom in August 2018 in 16.9-oz. bottles and on draft. (Finally) had in July 2020 poured from 16.9-oz. bottle into tulip.
This is a complex wild Farmhouse Ale. A melon-gold pour is topped by a near-white head that doesn't stick. Aroma is sour and strawberry, and resin and pineapple. A tart and funky start gives way to a very dry and crisp body, which supports some strawberry and pineapple, and reveals a little cracker malt, before a very crisp, 8.80 ABV-concealing finish.
