Paperboiz was a collaboration with All Relation, with each brewery brewing its own version. SoPro's was a SoPro Taproom-only release in July 2020 on draft and in pint can 4-pks. Had at the Taproom on draft into Willi Becher, and later poured from pint can, bottom stamped (apparently) canned on "06/25/20," into pilsner glass.
This German Pilsner looks the part, although the head retention and lacing could be stronger. With one concession to American tastes, this is a bold, malty, bitter German pilsner. SoPro has also tossed in some Comet with the Saaz, which adds just a bit of lime aroma and flavor to the Noble hop spices, but this is still anything but an easy-drinking American lager.
