Barrel Aged Sleeper Agent Cuvée - our imperial stout base (sleeper agent) blended from selections of chicory bourbon barrels, brandy barrels, and bourbon barrels. We decided to let the various barrels shine through and make the chicory flavor pop.

Sleeper Agent Cuvée was released on draft and in 16.9-oz. bottles at the SoPro Taproom in November 2020. Had at taproom on draft into 12-oz. tulip.
Pours absolutely black, and, as expected for a (multiply) barrel-aged beer, the slim dark-tan head soon departs without a trace. Aroma is huge and continuing bourbon, coffee, brandy and toffee. On drinking, the alcohol bite is up front, delivering chicory, toffee, brandy, and smooth chocolate, before a big bourbon finish.
