Trinkparty was a small-batch, SoPro Taproom-only release at SoPro's 2021 Oktoberfest (SoPröst) on draft and in pint 4-pks. Had at SoPröst on draft into Seidel, and later poured from pint can, bottom stamped (apparently) canned on "09/24/21," into Willi Becher.
Pours medium gold with clarity and 2-finger creamy near-white head, with good retention, leaving nice sketchy lace down the glass. Aroma of sweet malt, then mild Noble hop spice and floral aromas, and even some sharp stone fruit as warms. Begins with a little carbonation bite, then some mild malt, a little hop bitterness, and an indefinite fruitiness, perhaps stone fruits, leading into a drying but still malty finish.
A little deeper gold than typical, and not so soft and subtle--overall a bit more American that I prefer my Kölsches--but a crisp, refreshing beer.
