Banana Fluff was a SoPro Taproom-only limited release on Black Friday 2021 in pint 4-pks. and on draft. Had poured from pint can, no date, into Rastal Harmony oversized red wine glass.
Pours beautiful deep, hazy gold, with 1 and 1/2-finger creamy, stiff off-white head, with good retention, and leaving etched drapes of lace down the glass. Big banana aroma off the pour, soon joined by vanilla wafers, and balancing tartness, and finally some earthy, spicy berry aromas. Begins nicely tart, then some marshmallow and vanilla wafer join but don't defeat the tartness, and moderate banana just in time for the lactose creamy but still very tart finish.
Banana aroma introduces what is, finally, a marvelously tart and interesting banana puddin'-plus Berliner.
