POG Crowd Control (pineapple, orange, grapefruit) 8% abv - a we took our crowd control base and added a pinch of lactose to accompany the Mosaic and Wai-iti, and Idaho 7 dry hop then conditioned on top of pineapple, orange, and grapefruit. Bright and obviously fruity.

You can tast the pineapple, orange, and grapefruit, with grapefruit being the strongest of the three to me. The mouthfeel is thick, very similar to citrus juice. With the last swallow, I THOUGHT I felt a bit of citrus pulp, but that could have been psychosomatic. This is a good beer. I love the original, and this has added depth of flavor and feel. If you are not a fan of citrus fruits, don't even try it...

POG Crowd Control was released for Southern Prohibition’s 9th Anniversary Party at the SoPro Taproom on May 21, 2022, on draft and in pint can 4-pks. Had poured from pint can, bottom stamped (apparently) canned on "05/06/22" into nonic pint, and also at the SoPro Taproom on draft into type of pokal.

Pours deep hazy gold with 1-finger creamy off-white head, which drops to a persistent film, and leaves etched lace down the glass, all head effects reduced as expected from OG CC. Pineapple, citrus and (presumably) guava sharp citrus aromas off pour, from the added fruit, the usual Crowd Control piney hop resin joins, and then some herbal character, stone fruits and a bit of mild malt as warms. Begins sweet tropical and sharp citrus fruits with resinous pine notes right behind, and mild malt beneath, with those and stone fruits building into a still classically resinous, (bit) malty, biting Crowd Control finish.

Because the base beer is that bad boy Crowd Control, this is a POG for serious IPA drinkers, rather than for yer mama.
