Atmospheric Melodies was a SoPro Taproom-only release in May 2022 on draft and in pint 4-pks. Had poured from pint can, no date, into nonic pint.
Pours lightly-hazy medium-gold with 2-finger, creamy near-white head, with excellent retention, which leaves nice etched rings of Belgian lace down the glass. Vegetal aroma off pour, then sweet citrus, and as warms sharper citrus (lime), which turns moderately dank and mildly tropical. Begins sweet citrus over mild malt, then citrus sharpens up into some nice bite, with stone fruits and tropical funk joining as warms, before a long finish that starts sweet and ends up both bitter and tropically funky.
Dank, tropical, and bitter enough DIPA.
