Season of the Wit was a SoPro Taproom-only release in June on 2022 on draft and in pint 4-pks. Had poured from pint can, bottom stamped (apparently) canned on "06/17/2022," into squat "Belgian"-style tulip.
Pours cloudy, pale but bright yellow with 1-finger near-white head, which quickly dissipates to a persistent ring, leaving only a few specks of lace. Aroma of mild malt off pour, then some spice, and a little citrus as warms. Begins sharply crisp, even peppery, over a smooth malt body, with a little mild citrus joining, before a full, mildly sweet malt finish, with just a bit of peppery bite in the back.
Nice malt base and subtle additions, make for an easy-drinking wit.
