Mississippi Mudflap was a draft-only release in Nov. 2022 at the SoPro Taproom and Keg & Barrel. Had at the taproom on draft into type of pokal.
Pours light lemon-hazy with 1-finger, creamy off-white head, with good retention, leaving chunky lace down the glass. Fruity aroma off pour, not clearly citrus or white grape but more a combination of the two, then a hint of hop spice, before the fruit takes over and carries to the bottom of the glass. Begins crisp and fruity, following the aroma, then a little hop spice carrying into some mild caramel malt, for a classically mouth-filling APA finish.
A hazy and spicy update to the traditional fruity and malty APA.
