Blueberry Swirl was a July 2024 SoPro Taproom-only release on draft and in pint 4-pks. Had poured from pint can, bottom stamped (apparently) canned on "07/26/24," into Rastal Harmony oversized red wine glass.
Pours murky, deep ruby purple with 1-finger pink head, with decent retention, which leaves a little sketchy lace after it dissipates. Moderate aroma of cracker and bigger aroma of blueberries off pour, then some tart aroma, and a little vanilla as warms. On tasting, begins smooth, creamy, cheesy and fruity, with blueberry, over evident cracker malt, and moderating vanilla, with the blueberry flavor steadily growing as warms, and into the biting, citrusy, moderately tart finish.
Experimental cheesecake sour that is not too sweet but works both as a Weisse (sort of) "mit schuss," and as your evening blueberry cheesecake dessert.
