Peanut Butter Banana Fluff, a "Fluffernutter" version of SoPro's sour Fluff series, was a May 2025 release, only at the SoPro Taproom, for SoPro's 12 year anniversary, on draft and in 12-oz. 4-pks. Had poured from 12-oz. can, bottom stamped (likely) canned on "05/02/25," into Teku tulip 3.0.
Pours creamy, opaque banana smoothie with 1-finger near-white head, which doesn't last very long, but dissipates to a persistent ring, and leaves sketchy lace down the glass. Aroma of fruity yeast off pour, then lots of banana aroma, with some peanut butter aroma joining as warms. On tasting, begins sweet fruit, lots of ripe banana and sweet marshmallow, with Weisse sourness and lactic acidic bite to keep it balanced, over a mild peanut butter base (the cracker malt is overwhelmed), before a smooth, rich, banana but fruity acidic biting finish.
I don't eat bananas, but this is great, as it somehow balances copious amounts of banana and lots of peanut butter and sweet marshmallow with fruity yeast and lactic acid bite, for a surprisingly crisp smoothie sour.
